Develop your traditional woodworking skills while creating a project of your choice. There will be the opportunity to create a range of wood-based items, including chopping boards, serving platters, carved spoons and bowls, pegs, phone stands, candle holders, stools, rustic furniture, hazel hurdles, rakes and other traditional woodland crafts. Participants will decide what they'd like to make once they begin, with guidance from the tutor.
Alongside practical woodworking, you'll learn valuable heritage skills such as carving, green wood turning, tool sharpening and restoration, and traditional wooden joints. If you're interested in taking your craft further, you'll also receive support with product photography, social media, selling online, and even planning and delivering your own workshops.
