Celebrating Craft. Preserving Heritage. Inspiring Creativity.

Welcome to Traditional Skills Limited. We enrich lives through the preservation of traditional crafts, rural skills and hands-on learning.

From our wool workshop in Llangollen and wood workshop in Denbigh, to our newly acquired agricultural land in Mold, Flintshire, we create opportunities for people to connect with heritage skills, the countryside and each other.

Our story

As a not-for-profit organisation, our aim is to make a positive difference through heritage and rural development skills training that is accessible to everyone, helping people build confidence, wellbeing and meaningful connections across generations.

Our workshops, courses and community projects are developed in partnership with local groups, organisations and participants, ensuring they respond to the needs and interests of the communities we serve. From first-time experiences to advanced skill development, we provide welcoming spaces where people can learn, create and grow.

Our expanding countryside programme will bring together land-based learning, conservation, traditional rural practices and sustainable craft skills, helping preserve valuable knowledge while creating new opportunities for education, participation and wellbeing.

Working collaboratively with schools, community organisations, charities and local partners, we support a thriving creative and rural community, celebrating traditional skills, encouraging lifelong learning and inspiring people to engage with craft, nature and heritage in everyday life.
