Plans for the site
Traditional Skills has recently taken over the stewardship of 20 acres of beautiful land in Nercwys, Mold.
Over time, we will enhance the biodiversity of the land through improvements to the meadow and hedgerow, the creation of new wildlife habitats, and the planting of trees, including heritage craft species such as willow and hazel for use in our traditional skills courses.
The site will allow us to deliver a new portfolio of traditional heritage and countryside skills training and we are excited to see how the space develops over time.

Volunteer with us!
We're looking for volunteers to get involved with a range of conservation and heritage projects at our field. Opportunities include planting native hedgerows, recording the wildlife and plants on the site, and helping to plant and manage willow and hazel for future coppicing. No experience necessary!
